The written exam of BPSSC ASI Steno Consists of 2 Paper (Paper-1 & Paper-2) .
Paper-1 : General Hindi.
Paper-2 : General Knowledge & Current Affairs.
There will be 100 Multiple Choice Question of 100 Marks in Paper-1 Exam.
Paper-1 Time Duration : 90 Minutes.
Paper-1 will be Qualifying in Nature, Candidates must secure at least 30% marks.
Paper-2 : General Knowledge & Current Affairs.
Paper-2 Total Questions : 100.
Paper-2 Total Marks : 200..
Time Duration for Paper-2 : 120 Minutes.
For Every Wrong Answer 0.2 Marks Will be Deducted.

Bihar Police ASI Steno Recruitment 2024 : Skill Test

Candidates equal to six times the number of total vacancies will be qualified for the skill test. There will be three types of the test involved in this stage

Dictation : The dictation test will be done by typing for 5 minutes at a speed of 80 words per minute. There should be no more than 10% mistake to pass the typing test.
Typing Test : Candidates need to type in Hindi as well as English. The candidate should type with a minimum speed of 30 words per minute to type 300 words in 10-10 minutes. To pass this test, more than 5% error in Hindi Typing and 10% in English typing should not be found.
Computer Knowledge Test : Candidates must be well versed with MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and also using the internet.
